CRYSTAL THURBER

About the organizer

Crystal and her company have been awarded “Best of” for 2019, 2020, and 2021, and the Angi "Super Service Award" for 2022 as well as obtained nearly 40, 5-star reviews on Angi.com.

Crystal is a 41-year-old who has been in business since 2017. Before working as an organizer, she worked for a number of years in elementary schools as a teacher’s assistant, teacher, and special education teacher.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Special Education.  She loves learning about brain research, human behavior, and how emotions are expressed!

As a former educator, she knows how valuable learning is and seeks to improve her knowledge and skill set on a regular basis.  This led to helping her friends organize their rooms and classrooms and quickly realized that was something that she enjoyed. After extensive research and preparation, she founded the company as a side hustle in 2017 which she grew into a full time business in 2018.

Crystal is NOT a naturally organized person. Instead, she had to learn the hard way over several years of trial and error, research, and assistance how to be organized. She hopes to take what she has learned and help you to improve your skills much faster!

When she comes into action, she not only likes to simply organize, but personalizes her duty each time by understanding the roots of the challenges clients face through communication and a questionnaire as part of the organizing project. The clients' needs always are considered, and Crystal makes sure that they learn new skills to help themselves in the future.

Aside from her business, Crystal is a very proactive and busy person who enjoys indoor wall climbing, volunteering at her local Makerspace (https://www.nova-labs.org/) where she was elected to serve as the Secretary to the Operations Committee, reading, jigsaw puzzles, board gaming, and taking care of her cats. She also enjoys being creative by doing lots of crafts including but not limited to welding and metalwork (she recently refurbished a rusted-through fire pit!), cross stitch, and coloring.
